1.21 Church

My wife Angela and I have been married and living in Winston Salem for 10 years. We have 2 girls, Kate (6) & Anneliese (3) and a newly adopted son, Godfrey. As my day job, I am a CPA and work at BB&T in Internal Audit. Away from BB&T, I try to use my financial understanding to educate and help others in need of personal budgeting. My spiritual gift is "acts of service", so serving the body through physical, logistical or tactical ways is an act of worship to Jesus my LORD. My personal interest include fellowship among believers, so often I'm one of driving advocates for Sunday afternoon volleyball, kickball, or whatever we can do to enjoy the afternoons together.  

As a deacon at 1.21 I am charged with the Treasurer function and maintain the upkeep of the church building, ensuring everyone has the ability to hear the message in a comfortable safe environment. My deepest passion and prayers are for souls blind to the good news of Jesus. I know there is hope because just as I was a dead lost legalist soul, Christ made me alive to his goodness for his good pleasure.
